Tokyo, Japan – 19 February 2026: Japanese audio specialist Final has announced the Final A2000, a new wired in-ear monitor designed to deliver exceptional clarity and punchy, energetic bass at an accessible price point.
The A2000 will be available from selected retailers worldwide from 19 February 2026, priced at £79.99 / $79.99 / €74.99.

Clear sound with lively, bouncy bass
Final says the A2000 delivers precisely imaged notes with strong definition, combining extreme clarity with tight, energetic low-end impact. The aim is a balanced and engaging signature that works well across a wide range of genres.
A new approach to sound evaluation
According to Final, the A2000 is the result of a newly established sound-quality evaluation methodology, first developed during the creation of the company’s flagship A10000.
Rather than relying solely on fixed sound-pressure testing, Final analysed how music is experienced in real-world listening conditions across varying volumes and recording qualities. The goal is to keep the A2000 sounding natural, controlled, and musical in everyday use.

In-house 6mm “f-Core DU” dynamic driver
At the heart of the A2000 is Final’s in-house 6mm f-Core DU dynamic driver. Final states that every component, from diaphragm and voice coil to magnet and production equipment, has been engineered internally.
- A brass front housing is used to reduce magnetic interference.
- An ultra-fine 30μm CCAW voice coil is designed to improve transient response.
- Each diaphragm is pressed in small batches for uniform, low-distortion performance.
Refined fit and distinctive finish
Building on the design philosophy of Final’s B Series, the A2000 uses a stable three-point support fit at the ear pocket, eartip, and tragus. Final says this reduces pressure while maintaining security, delivering a natural, almost custom-like feel across a wide range of ear shapes.
The housing features a two-tone design, pairing classic black with vivid blue accents, finished with Final’s textured “shibo” coating to resist fingerprints and help maintain a clean appearance.
A high-precision 0.78mm 2-pin connector and soft black OFC cable are intended to minimise microphonics and maintain flexibility. The A2000 also includes five sizes of dual-hardness silicone eartips: SS / S / M / L / LL.

About Final
Established in 2007, Final began as a subsidiary of a major American connector brand. In 2014, the company became independent through a management buyout, which Final describes as its “second formation”.
Final says it aims to create earphones and headphones that people develop an affinity for and continue to use for years, supported by product design decisions and a repair system. The company’s brand concept is “the comprehensive pursuit of things that are fundamentally right”, and it notes that it actively adopts cutting-edge technologies such as 3D printing in support of that goal.
